Maestro Rumaldo Valenzuela Ramos, is a distinguished figure in the world of the arts, with a career spanning over four decades. He is internationally recognized for his profound knowledge, understanding and education on the P'urepecha heritage, he has become a leading authority on the cultural traditions of Michoacán. Maestro Rumaldo's expertise extends across various disciplines, including dance, music, choreography, where he has demonstrated unparalleled mastery in showcasing the richness of the region's folklore. This past September 2023, Maestro Rumaldo was awarded the Medal 'Vasco de Quiroga' in the magical town of Pátzcuaro for the dissemination of culture. Through his work, he has not only preserved but also celebrated the vibrant cultural legacy of Michoacan, earning admiration and acclaim both in Mexico and abroad.
