The Woodland Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the long-awaited return of the 56th annual Holiday Parade! After a 2-year hiatus due to the COVID pandemic, the parade will once again ride down Main Street on December 10th this year, with the theme "Home for the Holiday Magic." We want to thank everyone in our community for their patience as well as the City of Woodland for sponsoring this event.
The deadline for applying is November 21st, we look forward to seeing everyone out there!

The Holiday Parade will start at 4:00 p.m.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
1. DATE – Saturday, December 10th, 2022 APPLICATION DEADLINE: November 21, 2022
2. THEME – “Home for the Holiday Magic”
3. TIME - TBD - this year, the parade is an afternoon parade and will start at approximately 3:00 p.m., the time may be adjusted based on number of entrants. Units not in position will be placed in the last division. Parade entrants can select if they prefer to be nearest the front of the parade (with daylight) or towards the end of the lineup (dark, to participate in the lighted float portion).
4. HOW TO ENTER – Submit the online application below with payment and WAIVER OF LIABILITY, MEDICAL RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT for every individual participating in your unit. All person(s) participating in the parade must sign the waiver. For assistance with the application process, please visit the Woodland Chamber of Commerce office located at 400 Court Street, Woodland, CA 95695. If you need additional information, phone (530) 662-7327. Please give DETAILED information on each entry submitted. Please note; the Parade Committee at its discretion reserves the right to refuse any entry. NOTE: Entry fee is charged for each category being judged.
5. Enclose appropriate entry fee – *NO REFUNDS IN THE EVENT THE PARADE IS CANCELLED. (Check should be payable to the Woodland Chamber)
6. AWARDS – Will be available at the Chamber Office beginning Monday, December 12th.
7. LOCATION FOR PICKUP – 400 Court Street Woodland, CA.
8. FORMATION AREA – Unit of divisions and numbers will be emailed to the designated representative indicated by you on the application. Email notice will be sent upon completion of the parade lineup following the parade entry deadline. Please review the Woodland Chamber website for information, including special instructions for horse units.
9. COMPETITION AREA – A SILENT ZONE (for bands, drill team/marching units) will be marked 100 feet before the start of the judging area; silence must be maintained in this zone. The judging area will be 450 feet long and the width of the city street.
• Be sure to review Parade Rules for route requirements and time limits within the competition area.
• Remember this is a continuous moving Parade and there is no stopping to perform
• The start and finish competition lines and the silent zone will be marked with signs.
